The Story
Where do I even begin my story?
I Can Write Too! started in December 2012 as a humble blog, sharing my love for teaching and writing.
Soon, I found that the format of a blog limited the content I posted so I moved on to creating my first website on Weebly.
After that, I returned to school and taught for almost 4 years. Being a busy mother and school teacher, it was really difficult to update my website on a regular basis. So I left it as it was.
In 2019, I've decided that it was time to take the bold step and pursue my dreams. I want to focus on what I love to do the most and pass on this passion directly to the children in Singapore.

Why The CANDY & DESSERT THEME?
I used a similar theme for my class in 2018 and both my pupils and their parents asked me about it.
The reason behind the theme is really very simple.
I believe that learning should be a happy, fun and sweet experience.
I believe that when learning takes place in a non-threatening and peaceful environment, children will be able to focus, internalise and assimilate the information they pick up and turn it into knowledge.

What's Next
Back in 2013 - 2015, a number of parents had pm me in the various forums and emailed me to ask if I gave tuition. Unfortunately, at that time, duty as a mother called upon me more urgently and I had to decline all the requests.
I am excited to announce that in 2019, I will be conducting small group tuition classes in Bukit Batok. Each lesson will focus on the language skills your child needs to acquire in order to communicate effectively and also the specific skills needed to write a captivating story.
