The children will enjoy a thematic learning experience through stories, videos or hands-on activities. The lessons are designed to appeal to children with diverse learning styles and attention span. This is followed by a structured series of activities to instil comprehension skills and vocabulary-building.
In the process of exploring the themes and shifting the focus to writing, the children will acquire or strengthen essential grammar skills such as subject-verb agreement, punctuation, sentence construction, synthesis. These skills will enable the children to construct grammatically correct and expressive sentences.
As the learning experience shifts gears into the main writing per se, the children will develop skills in planning and structuring their writing and adding details and expanding on existing ideas.

For the primary six classes, the children will revisit and review skills they have acquired during their primary school education, including
- Comprehension skills to understand the different text types
- Applying knowledge of grammatical rules in written and oral communication
- Applying oral communication skills to interact effectively with the intended audiences
- Writing in an organised and coherent manner on various themes and intended audiences and situations
The graduating classes face a significant amount of pressure. In the midst of preparing them with the technical skills to face their examinations, the children will also pick up time and stress management skills, along with a reasonable amount of fun during classes.
